I read the above post on Twitter earlier and thought it important to STAND UP FOR THE DELIVERY DRIVERS OF THE WORLD!!!

With the downturn of the economy and the crazy gas prices of these last couple of years, many companies now add some sort of surcharge or delivery fee.  Pizza places are no exception.  The "delivery fee" added to the bill leads many pizza customers to believe that the driver's tip is taken care of with this "fee."  This is NOT the case.  The driver is being paid minimum wage or less (like a waiter or waitress in some cases) and is counting on your tips to be a big part of their compensation for each hour they work.
